Default Help ID Obsolete Table Saw Fastener

    Hello,

I recently picked up a sears/craftsman 10" 2hp table saw with a worn out drive belt and what appears to be a missing fastener to hold the motor in place.

Was hoping someone could help identify the size of fastener I need to buy for the mount. I have a model number for the motor (820176) but the label for the saw itself appears long since worn away.

Photo of the interface needing fastener:

    Greatly appreciate any advice.

This is a contractor saw with the motor hanging out the back? The weight of the motor tensions the belt so the motor must be free to move on the hinge shaft. Is the point you think is missing a fastener the circled area on the attached photo? I would expect there to be a grub screw in that hole to attach the cast motor mount bracket to the shaft, but I'd be very surprised if there is supposed to be a fastener through the arc in the steel bracket into the cast motor mount bracket.

Thank you, that is exactly it. Sounds like a non-issue. First table saw purchase- i saw a threaded hole and wasn't sure if I knocked out a fastener during transit.
