JET 10 inch ProShop Table Saw
Hi All,
I have a Jet 10 Inch ProShop Table Saw and need some advice re the riving knife clamp. I overtightened the clamp and stripped the cam. I have removed the tightening knob and want to remove the riving knive so that I can fit my dado blade. Unfortunately I can't recall which direction the knob would have needed to be turned to loosen the clamp. If I fit a vice-grip vertically on the clamp bolt, should I pull it toward or away from myself, assuming I am standing where one would normally stand when operating the saw?
Stupid mistake overtightening in the first place!!
thanks for your help

Hi Treecycle, yes it is. The 'Figure 17' image shows the knob that I referred to. Because you have been kind enough to include images it is probably easier to re-ask the question but in a clearer way. To loosen the riving knife clamp should I turn the knob anti-clockwise or clockwise?

Hi Ari2, I am not familiar with the setup on these saws, but having a look at the manual here it says to loosen it by turning the knob counter clockwise (anti clockwise).
