New JET JPS-1o Table Saw
I've had a very busy weekend
My new table saw was delivered Thursday. A few hours Thursday and Friday evening plus most of Saturday resulted in this little beauty.

As you can see, I don't have much room left - I still need to get the car in.

The router table, which is on wheels sits in behind the table saw, and the thicknesser will sit next to it on its wheeled base (thats what the timber under the saw is for).

1HP dust extractor lives down the other end and is wheeled into position where needed.
The Jet is certainly a major step up from the Triton Compact table. The thing I am finding hard to get used to is the accuracy. Using the Triton, I always had to 'allow a bit' , but with the Jet, the accuracy is so good, I can make the cut first time.
I started the bench for the thicknesser after assembling the saw.
All the pieces were cut to approximate size, run through the thicknesser to plane one face, one edge jointed on the router table, and ripped to width on the Jet. All that in one day
Next job is to plane the other face down to finished thickness and then I can set out the morticesJohn

Looks like a good saw John.
Having nice tools makes the hobby that much more enjoyable.
It's certainly better than a Triton for ease of setup, but the Triton was accurate if you take the time to set it up regularly.
I think a lot of people would have some interest in that saw given how new it is. It would be good if you could take some more photos of the guts of the saw.

I'm also very keen to hear about the saw, jchappo.
For others interested, I found a review of the Jet ProShop here.

Congratulations John
All reports are good on your choice.
You feel confident making a cut on a solid saw. You know your cuts will be straight and square.
I am sure it will make your woodworking even more enjoyable.Scally
