jet supersaw
I was looking at the Jet supersaw with sliding table at the Perth woodshow, and was impressed by the apparent better quality over the similar saws from other suppliers. The one on show had the full cabinet saw base. The ones that are in stock in Perth have an open base. Is there any real difference in rigidity, particularly if mounted on a mobile base?
Thanks for your help.

I have one of the supersaws on a mobile and it's v stable. You shouldn't have a problem.

Dust collection on the open frame was a problem. Jet advised on early saws to cut out the "grid" in the bottom of the saw which made a huge difference. I still have to clean out the inside of the case after each big day but it's a 30 second job.
