I've found out a bit more about the closed cabinet version. Firstly pictures can be deceiving and whilst the photo I saw looked as though it had a bigger table, in fact they are the same size. The fence is the XACTA II, the same as on the Jet Cabinet saw.

I understand that the JET can come with a modified arbor to accept dado blades but I guess I am unconvinced.

I would appreciate any thoughts you might have on whether your Supersaw has a large enough motor and , if you use a dado blade, whether the supersaw has enough power to cope with trenching out a dado.

I have on occaision, tripped the circuit breaker when pushing the Jet fairly hard (ie ripping 50mm thick well seasoned hardwood whilst running the DC and Saw off the same 10 amp circuit!).

However, the Jet will handle pretty much what ever you throw at it so long as you choose an appropriate feed rate for the timber.
