    Default Problem with JPT 310

    Hi Guys,
I've just started to use my JPT 310 for things other than test runs.

I put a 2.4m 50 x 200 treated pine sleeper through the thicknesser component and it came out smooth as!

The my problem started. I asked the boss to turn it off and she pushed in the push in the E-stop button.

Since then the machine will not start. Yes I've pulled the button out to its original position and it still will not start.

I also completely removed the botton - no go. The red connector inside the e-stop button still goes in and out.

The machine is completely dead.... Any ideas?

An off the wall idea, have you checked the breakers/fuses? Most probably not an issue but check all the same and confirm that is not the problem.

    yes, checked thanks mate.
All the whole shed is on the same circuit and it continues to work ok.
I can test up to the extension cord that it plugs into and is ok.
its suss that it was going gang busters - the mrs went wow went she saw the rseults of taking 1mm of the treated pine sleeper...to not going again....im thinking it must be the switch..

so im still waiting to be advised when a service technician can come to house to have a look at my machine....I have to pay $120 for a service call just get them there as the warranty is back to base - pretty impractical really for a 270kg machine....
I believes some form of electrical problem - perhaps with the e-stop button.....
