    Default L'Invincible 1800

Hello Everyone.I'm trying to help my dad sell his L'Invincible 1800.
Can anyone give me an approximate price that I should be asking for it?
It is a big machine & has lots of parts to go with it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

If you haven't already found it, there is some discussion on L'Invicible machines here:

If the machine is complete in good condition and there is a bit of quality tooling with it then I would expect you could be looking at a price around the low $2000's.The machine in the images would date back to the late 50's I think.

My neighbor had one of those 1800 machines and paid $2400 for it about 15 years ago at a military base dispersal auction. In common with most things military, with the exception of our current serving soldiers I hasten to add, it had spent most of its time waiting for something to do ie it would be classed as 'good as new' when he bought it.

They are a fairly rough and ready machine by current standards but they would suit many purposes I guess but cutting up sheets isn't one. That is if you don't mind coping with the weight and if you have 3 phase power capable of running 5 or 6 HP motors. If you've got plenty of shed space its a great thicknesser for a couple of grand even if you use it for nothing else.

    Good luck with the sale.

    Thanks Pete.
Your information was very helpful. My dad was a builder & the machine has been used for many projects including building our kitchen.Unfortunately it has not been used much in the last 5 years.
