    Default Minimax C26 Genius

As i have been lucky to upgrade from my Lab22 - see previous post - to a C26 genius - thanks Doug and Gayleen - i am seeking help with adapting my INCRA 1000SE to the C26. I had made a slider from aluminium to fit the Lab22 which i drilled and tapped to attach the INCRA but as the sliding table on the C26 is much closer to the blade i am stumped as to how to offset the attachment the necessary 20mm? Assistance from any C26 users would be appreciated.

    Thanks Owen

Thanks Chris, I had seen that post, the issue with the C26 is the slot on the slider places the Incra 20mm too close to the blade, hence the need for a offset. Owen

I will give you a link to a thread Derek Cohen started but the photos have disappeared for some reason. I have sent him a message and knowing Derek he will put the photos back into his post. Mitre Fence for Slider

The link shows a double sided mitre gauge on his Hammer K3 which works well apparently and guarantees tight fitting joints as this design type always does if doing framing. Perhaps put the Incra on a sub base and offset it on the base?

Thanks again Chris for the link to Derek's post which also led me to other posts about the use of the slider which were very helpful. I have solved the problem by drilling clearance holes to mount the 1000se through the slider extension to the aluminium bar i had already drilled and tapped to connect the head unit. Pictures show how it looks.1000SE on C26 (1280x658).jpg 1000SE at 45 (1280x751).jpg
I also solved my problem with connecting my 100 mm dust hose to the 125mm outlet on the C26 - a Holman pan collar from you know where. I know the air flow efficiency won't be great but it works for me - see picture.100 - 125 Adaptor (2) (1280x897).jpg
