I work with the garage door open most of the time & although the noise level is reasonable out on the footpath, I would prefer not to annoy the neighbours too much. As Elan says below, it is tearout that is my main concern. The Tersa head is VERY convenient but I find the fine cut less than satisfactory as hardwood seems to 'bounce' leaving a slightly uneven surface. The cut is better with a deeper setting but then tearout is worse...
Spoke to Robert Gregory today & have a contact number for a C26 owner who has done the swapover. Waiting for a return call.
