neutral hook blade
hello does anybody know where in melbourne i can get a table saw blade with a neutral hook? i have searched all over the net and cant find anybody that stocks them.
I mainly want one for doing rebates and check outs without needing to do much cleaning up, if it helps I wanted a 10" blade 16mm arbor 3mm kerf and zero degree hook angle
thanks, stefan

stefan......Doubt you will find a zero hook angle blade although there are several manufacturers who make negative angle blades, generally -5deg or -10deg. They are generaly used in radial arm and drop saws to alleviate the self-feed tendencies of positive hook blades. They were also promoted as clean cutting.....as in no bottom chip out or splintering.
Are you actually looking for a blade that leaves a flat bottom kerf?
If this is the case a rip blade will do the job.
Cheers

Thanks for the replies, John I was looking for a flat bottom kerf I tend to use my saw for alot of rebates as I don't have a router table and wanted to have clean cuts without needing to clean up the 'v' left by angled teeth blades. Will definatly look into a straight tooth ripping blade will also check carbi tool thanks

I have an Infinity combination blade which leaves a flat-bottomed kerf - very useful in lots of applications, and cuts brilliantly for both ripping and crosscutting.
