Default Newbie with new TSC 10 table saw-Help

I've just assembled my new TSC 10 Table saw I bought from Timbercom and have discovered I'm missing the 'Clear Indicator" from the Biesemeyer Fence supplied.
I rang Timbercom and explained the problem and it was suggested to me that I may have thrown the indicator out with the rubbish. I'm not so sure. Anyway the guy said he would send me a replacement part. Great I think. 2 days later a small envelope arrived containing a 'clear indicator'. Unfortunately it didn't have any screws and in fact the 'clear indicator' didn't resemble the Biesemeyer version. This replacement part only has one screw hole and has to be fitted from underneath the fence. The red indicator line is too thick and I havn't been able to find a suitable screw to fix it.
I know I need to contact Timbercom about this. However does anyone know if its possible to contact Biesemeyer directly for a replacement part? Or would it be possible to scratch build a part.

Firstly, I'm a TSC-10HB owner. Very happy with the saw I am too.

However, the fence on the saw is most definitely not a Biesemeyer.

    It is a Biesemeyer clone.

If it were a Biesemeyer it would cost about half the price of the saw.

If I were you I'd pay Timbecon a visit in person.

    Tomorrow maybe?

As Craig said it is not a Biesemeyer fence. Its an Biesemeyer style fence.

But it doesn't really matter. You paid for the complete tool, fence and all.
Demand the missing parts. If you aren't sure what pieces are missing email a photo of what you have to timbecon.
I doubt that Timbecon will not supply you with everything that you payed for.

Thanks guys for the advice. I've since got back to Timbercom by phone , they seemed to be very helpful, and they're looking into getting me the actual part thats missing from my fence.
BTW with this tablesaw (3HP and 2500W) what have you done with regards the electrical supply? have you installed electric cabling to allow for a 15AMP current supply? I haven't dared turn my saw on yet until I get some advice from an electrician.

Hi Clogger (and all TSC10 owners),

I snapped mine about 5 months ago. I rang Carbatec Brisbane and asked if they had any more. 'No' they replied...I rang back about a day later and said I was disappointed that they didn't stock parts. They rang back and suggested my gripe was well founded and they would get them in. I bought 3 just in case. I recall around $1 each.

    Hope this helps

    Timmy

I got a 15 amp circuiy put in.

As the saw is delivered, you won't be able to plug it into a 10 amp outlet as the earth pin on a 15 amp plug is bigger than on a 10 amp plug.
