Panel Saw
Hi all. I have a question that has probably been asked before. Im in the market for a panel saw upto around 6K. But I cant work out if I should go Altendorf F45 or recently discovered Griggio SC3200. Would love to buy one saw and be happy with it.

Have you looked at the Hammer/Felder range?

Personally I'd recommend Altendorf over everything else but you may be hard pressed to find a decent F45 for 6k. Casolin and SCM both have good reputations as well but I haven't used them so I can't comment on that.
What will you mainly be using it for?

I have been warned of the F90. Great machine but limited.
Will be cutting MDF sheets upto 3.2m and 32mm thick to begin with but who knows where I will go from there.

if buying older F45 watch out as the seals go in the pumps that move the blade up / down and the tilt, very exy to fix.

Mini Max
Mini Max (made by SCM / Samco) panel saws are also worth a look. Italian made, well designed and a dream to use.
