Pickup and Transportation of Sliding Panel Saw
Hi All,
Could anyone recommend a company that would pickup and transport panel saws interstate. I am in Nth Qld and there seems to be some great second hand deals on Panel saws, particularly in Melbourne.
I would love to purchase one of these but do not have any idea who to call or get quotes from.
I have been quoted on new machines i.e Hafco PS 1810 240V for basically $3k delivered, and Prima 1600 for $5500 delivered.
The prima is probably the saw I should be looking at, as I will be dealing with some 24000 X 1200 sheets, but I seem to think I could get a good second hand panel saw for less than that delivered.
I am happy to go second hand to get a better saw, but just don't know who to call to pick it up and transport it.
Cheers
Brett

Transportation of panel saw.
Hi Bresam,
I'd be thinking that you will need to get the saw partially dismantled and crated or you could be getting a bad outcome. Good luck
Cheers Old Pete
