Default Power feed mounting on minimax c26/c30

    Hi,

I have a Minimax c30 and am looking at getting a small 1/4hp power feed for the spindle moulder function. Mounting options seem a bit limited and at this stage I'm leaning towards the jointer infeed table either by drilling and tapping the table or using a temp mounting plate (see pic for where I'm thinking). I realise that I will have to remove when I want to perform other functions but such is life with a small combi machine. Has anyone mounted one of these on the Minimax c26/c30? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Adam

It's not cheap ($295USD), but MagSwitch have a solution that would be perfect for you.

Thanks Mark, I have seen the Magswitch and it seems ideal, but you're not wrong about the price!

I think Hammer does a hinged power feed plate adaptor thingo. Maybe a hammer and a drill could fit it to the Max ( scuse the pun)
