Proxxon table saw
I have just bought a Proxxon table saw, model KS230.
This is the smaller model without depth control. What a beautiful tool!
I will use it for ripping thin planks of Huon Pine for model making.
First impressions are: Very accurate, low noise, no vibration to speak of, clean cuts that require almost no further finishing.
Drawbacks are that you can not rebate or slit. (the bigger version can do this). Beware the dust, it is very fine indeed.
I still have to get my head around a 2mm push stick for thin stock!
For my needs, it seems perfect so far.
