purchasing a table saw, advice
hi all,
I'm in the market for a table saw.
well i have looked everywhere, ebay on here and other online auctions.
i would really like a sliding table, i no I'm only a hobbyist but i would still like one. most new table saws are very expensive with a sliding table, and even then its tiny. but iv came across a hafco S- 250 which has a good size table and sliding table, also a 3hp induction motor. here is the link to it if people want to check it out. https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/Pr...stockCode=W450
is there any reason not to buy this saw? also has anyone got one?
my other option is to keep waiting and to look around for a 2nd hand table saw with a sliding table which i have found a few but they are all 12 hours away and the same price as the hafco anf the hafco is new. also i would then i need a night in a motel and $400 in fuel to get the second hand 1 where as i go to Sydney regularly anyways.
thanx for any help
cheers sean
