I got the same email from them. I think it will be a case of wait and see for a while> My understanding is that they are looking at bringing them out before the end of the year (or at least early next)

They're too late. I've already bought a PM2000. I've emailed them several times as well in the past.

Bit of a shame but I'm still happy with the PM2000.

Yes.



Without giving too much away, I can tell you that there are five Sawstops en-route to Australia as we speak, and will be available from February '08.

They will be demo'd at next years WWW Shows across the country.

No-one ever wants to be the first to buy one, Bob.

Took me twelve months to sell the first Hammer Bandsaw (back when I was with Felder - please do not assume that Felder are importing Sawstop - they're not), and now they are being ordered from Austria 40 at a time....

I sent an email to Sawstop yesterday asking if they are planning to export here any time soon, and reply is below.

I want to buy one..... I was going to buy one here and bring it back, but seeing as they are to be released in Australia I thought I'd wait til I got home.

There are still a few things that I need to keep tight-lipped on at present, but give me a few days and hopefully I will be able to make an announcement.

well ruddigar.. if they are going to be demo'd accross the country let me be the first to put up my hand to be a demonstrator... i can just see myself running a hot dog through a saw stop... of course, i'll need a saw to pratice on.. nudge nudge wink wink..
