    Default Sawstop contractor drive belt

Just found my drive belt is in rather poor condition and was wondering if anyone has found a replacement off the shelf at any of the usual suspects, Super Cheap etc... ?

    Default Drive belts

Have you tried the bearing/industrial supply people who stock v belts.
I know it’s not a v belt but I wonder whether it is just another generic flat belt.

I would also google the numbers on the belt. I have often found generic replacements for other belts this way.

I googled for about 4 hrs straight no luck, the numbers don't even come up on the manufacturers website.
I rang a couple of places but as soon as I mentioned sawstop they weren't interested.

The industrial suppliers will match profile and measure size. I think you actually have to turn up with the old belt.

Well I'm not actually sure of the profile, because the belt was damaged on 1 side and may have lost a rib.
It's $43 from carbatec + postage, so will give in this time round and order from them. Tried to order locally through total tools but that was $70
