    Default Woodman SB-12

Hi guys. I have a Woodman SB-12 (Also known as 12M10A manufactured in Taiwan by the Mao Shan Manufacturing Industrial Co) that is need of parts. Sadly, the short arm connected to the turning wheel that turns the cog on the blade riser is bent making it incredibly tight to turn. I have had it looked at by a machine serviceman and he has suggested a replacement part as the best way to go. Unfortunately, the store where I bought it from is struggling to source the part for me. This is annoying particularly because I know that these saws are still for sale and that heaps have been sold in the past.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how/where I can obtain parts? I am going to call other sellers that have the saw in case they can help too.

It has been 5 weeks now and my patience is starting to wear thin.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers. I have given them a call and it isn't appearing to be straightforward which is a worry. I am waiting for them to call back after they try and chase things up.

Hare & Forbes have an SB-12 saw. Is it possible that the internal components are the same?
Here is a parts list from their site. http://www.machineryhouse.com.au/5ST1444 Is one of these the part you are after?

Thanks Treecycle but this is not the same saw. Mine is a cabinet saw like this one...

    12M10A

BTW I just got notified that my supplier has found the parts overseas and is getting prices. It will be interesting to see how much and how long it will take. It has already been 5 weeks
