    Default SCM L'Invincibile C35 Combination Machine

    I have picked up an SCM L'Invincible C35 combination machine at auction for a couple hundred dollars which I hope to eventually use for milling up cove and bead cedar strips for a canoe I am looking to build.

    After somehow managing to load the beast into a 750kg rated 6x4 box trailer and driving the 100km home it was wrestled into my shed with the help of a backhoe and a 2 ton engine hoist.

    As far as I can tell it is resonably complete. From hunting around on the net I have worked out that it is missing the sliding table for the saw. The only major thing that I have found wrong with it is the brass rail that is used to raise and lower the thichnesser table is missing a few teath. Without a parts or operator manual though I am bit lost as to what else may be missing. It would also be nice to have some basic directions on how to drive the beast. I think I have a pretty good idea as to what I am doing but it never hurts to know for sure. Despite my searching I have been unable to locate any type of manual online. If anyone has a manual or knows where to get one I would be very appreciative.

    Thanks

    Did you get the fence for the buzzer or the cover/fence assembly for the spindle moulder?

    Just included some pictures in the albums section to show guarding, switch relocation, dust extraction, incra fences and power feed. https://www.woodworkforums.com/member...gy-s-pictures/

    I assume you have 3 phase ? or are you going to change out the motor?

    I am lucky enough to have 3 phase so no motor changeout required.

    Default Scm manual

    G'Day Mates; (I hope I said it right)

    I am new to the forum. I was given this link by a fellow here in Canada that I bought my SCM C35 from. He had seen it and past it on. I am looking for the manual for this machine as well. I have the parts manual, I just want the operation manual. If some one could e-mail it to me I would be veeeeerrrryy gratefull. I still have 3PH in mine and am considering buying a phase converter rather than changeing out the motors. I know I don't have the original starter switches on mine though and I want to make sure I don't have a problem there.
    My email address in case anyone can help is; [email protected]

    I am looking forward to learning more about this machine. One part I need to find right away is the double roller for the drive belts that run the planer feed rollers. If I cannot find one I was going to try to turn one on my Midi lathe out of Cocobolo or some other rock hard wood with a natural oil in it.

    Take ya all;

    Scott

    Hi all,
    Scott has recieved a copy of the manual and replied with the following question;

    Is there a serial # located on the saw?

    He has found a # located below the mortising attachment but SCM Italy don't seem to think this is the serial #. (hope I am explaining this correctly Scott, as the email is at home and I have only looked at it quickly this morning). I have never seen a # on my machine mainly due to not looking for one!

    Thanks,

    James W

    Default SCM 35 Invicibile

    Has anyone been successful in finding the Operator's manual for the SCM 35 Invicibile. I am looking at buying the exact same machine as Rodeoclown666 has in photos. I can't get my hands on the serial number.
    If someone has it and can email it to me I would be very grateful. Please let me know via this forum. Thanks.

    Bardaques,

    I can send you a scanned copy of an original SCM Mini30/C35 manual. You need to Private Message me through the forum with your email, don't post it on the forum for the world to see!

    Default SCM serial number

    Good morning everyone;

    The number in question that I found on my machine is stamped in the area of the morticing attachment. I had to remove the morticing tool and the spline track that is bolted to the side of the machine (the morticer rides up and down on this spline). Mine is a seven digit number and the only one I have found so far.
    Hope this helps to determine if it is the serial number or not.

    Scott
