Sherwood (Timbecon) MJ2331 vs Carba-tec KS12K Table Saws
I am considering buying a table saw, and would appreciate advice on which of the two table saws would be a better buy.
The Sherwood brand model no MJ2331 from Timbecon or the Carba-tec KS12k.
Both saws have a 12" blade. The advantages of the Sherwood is left tilting arbour, and a 3HP 15 amp motor. Whereas the Carba-tec has a right tilting arbour, and the motor is only rated to 2HP, 8 amps. I believe that the Sherwood is made in China and the Carba-tec is one of the many Taiwanese made saws.
I would be interested to hear people views on this subject, especially if you were an owner of either of the above saws, and what you felt about the quality and power etc.
Thanks
