Shopsmith Midi
Hi fellow Shopsmithers - I'm new to the forum and loving all the comments, suggestions and of course the humour! Just hope my first post is done properly! I have an old 10ER which I want to rebirth in a midi size ie about half the length!
I only want to use the saw for fine work, the sander and my favourite function the horizontal borer! My search of the Net for modified units has been fruitless! Anyone know of someone who has taken a hacksaw to the 2 tubular ways?

Can't help with any suggestions Lateron, but welcome to the Forum. There are some very knowledgeable people here, so you should be able to get some information.
You could try re-posting your query in this forum as it is a bit more wide ranging covering lots of different machines. Good luck.Dallas
