    Hey Roger

I haven't used this saw but like you I had considered it based on research in my price range.

That was until I saw it in person.

It's very flimsy and lifting with one finger in the corner of the saw is enough for a lot of flex both across the table and through the base structure.

The fence clamps nice and firmly but well of square and the aluminium extrusion it is constructed from is of poor design.

For the price I think it'd suffice for basic tasks but you can not expect woodworking accuracy from this saw.

    Cheers

    B

I was at a one of their stores looking for some gear not so long ago, and opened up a conversation on the brand itself.

I asked because I had seen some prices that were attractive on the surface, and I wasn't sure if it was a new, quality brand trying to get itself known by extremely keen pricing on a quality product, or if the pricing was reflective of the quality of the product.

I was informed that the brand is the "house" brand of the supplier, and I was told by the staff there to avoid it at all costs.

I can only conclude that if the staff advise avoiding it, it can't be all that great.

Does anyone have one of these saws?

im interested in the Bayer saw stand and if the mounting holes are compatible with my dewalt dw744
i liked the wheels and folding design compared to the dewalt scissor stand.

Local outlet didn’t have any on display to measure the hole distances

I doubt you'd find too many around here with one - they really aren't that well built or designed (see above).

I can only echo my earlier comments - if the staff at the store selling this stuff are advising me not to buy it and find something else, then it's a pretty clear indication to me that it's "avoid at all costs" type kit?

Not interested in getting the saw just liked the stand cause it’s on wheels I wanted to know the spacing of the mounting bolts.
Store credit as a refund didn’t interest me otherwise I’d have taken one home.

    Hi,

I have been given one super cheap from a friend. I can confirm that it sucks for detailed woodworking. Unless I modify or adjust some bolts, the blade on mine can't be set square! lol
The table isn't flat and the fence needs to be set square before it is locked into place.

I'll use it to clean the weathered/painted edges off recycled timber and then use proper tools.

I played with it and the blade can be set square. Even still, it is best used for general bulk cutting.

    Thanks
