    Default table saw adjustments

    Hi everyone.

I am pretty fussy with my table saw being aligned properly.

I went and checked my saw today and found the blade run-out (I think thats what you call it) is 0.008". Is that a bit too much?
What I call blade runout is the amount the blade wobbles side to side during 1 rotation.
ie the blade is not perfectly flat.
I checked the arbour with my dial gauge and its good.

The mitre slot to blade distance is 0.001" front to back of blade (same tooth). I dare not try move it to get it perfect.

    Fence is spot on too.

I have an incra mitre gauge which is perfectly square too but I am still having problems cross cutting perfectly square.
I have to admit it is not out by much but sometimes it can be noticeable especially when doing joints.

    Legin

If your blade has a bit of wobble in it, but does not cause excessive vibration, it should not be detrimental to your cuts. This will just give you a slightly wider kerf.
Wobble in your blade will not alter how straight it cuts with your mitre gauge. The important thing is that the blade is parallel to the mitre slot which you say yours is. Is it possible that the timber you are cutting with the mitre gauge is slipping away from the blade as you are cutting?
