Table saw blades
Hey again
Also just wondering what types of blades you can buy for table saws and what types I should buy specifically for generally purpose, ripping and crosscuts.
Cheers

This question has been asked many times, so it is probably worth searching to see if you can find the answer you are after.
The first thing to consider is what you will be cutting. I'd suggest that you get 4 blades - a rip blade, a crosscut blade, a general blade with a flat tooth (for flat bottom trenches, splines, etc) and a dado blade. There are zillions of different brands to look at - cmt, Freud, Forrest, and many others.
Personally, I use infinity blades, but whatever makes you happy. Any reputable brand blade will get you a good cut.
Hope that gets you started.

Ah, good, a religious question!
My absolute all time favouriteis the Freud Premier Fusion. Amazon.com: Freud P410 Premier Fusion 10-Inch 40 Tooth Hi-ATB General Purpose Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor and PermaShield Coating: Home Improvement
I agree with Trav, but I feel minimising is good. I use a Freud 10" thin kerf, a big 12" cheap blade for doing rough cut ups (stuff with nails, dirt, crates, etc) and a dado set.
Dados are a matter of personal preference as well, there are many, but as they are expensive this needs a serious contemplation.
