The Right Table Saw Help
I recently had the opportunity to get a Sawstop 10inch 5hp table saw of a really good price. But after looking into Sawstop they don't suit my use as I mainly work with reclaimed timber and the odd nail or staple sometimes makes it to the blade which would set off the brake on the saw. I would love to get an old cast iron table but have starting to lean towards the Laguna F3 fusion. I'm looking for some recommendations on upgrading. I plan to use it mainly for breaking down reclaimed materials and repurposing them into tables, chairs, boards etc.

as far as table saw's go... sawstops are still really high quality saws.
you can still flick a key and put it in bypass mode (which stops the brake going off) if you have reason to suspect metal is in the wood. but again the rest of the build if VERY solid and accurate
