    Hey
I bought one of those Jigs. Although it s been quite good, two things:
    1) Its no good for very thick stock, so a riving knife is necessary.
    2) I was pushing some smaller stock through with the micro jig, I completed the cut, but started to return the part back to me (around the blade as they show so elegantly on their ads) a little early. The part caught the back of the blade. And guess what... Mega kick back... The part flew so fast, it broke the start switch and light on my overhead milling machine, including dinting the solid metal case. And the part is now MIA somewhere in my work shop. Couldn't find it and parts of my work lamp anywhere.
Yes, it was my fault, but the micro jig encourages you to be a little lazier with carefully and safe cutting, especially with repeat cuts, which was the case with me.
I would however recommend the Micro jig.

    Thats my 2c worth.

I got an email from Carbatec this morning...

The model you’re looking for is our upcoming model JET-JTAS10LDX Deluxe Left Tilt Table Saw. Unfortunately we’ve only just placed our first order for these in the last few weeks and they’re not expected to arrive until mid to late March. Retail price for this model will be $2799 including GST.
It seems like there's few good options currently available in the $1500-2500 bracket.
