Table Saw Power Feeder
G'day All,
Have read what I can find on Power feeders on the forum.
My question is:
will a constant rate of feed reduce the blade marks from a table saw blade???
Regards,
Noel

There are much cheaper ways of getting a smooth even cut on a table saw than a power feed..... these things are pricey.
First port of call is a nice fine blade.
Personaly I could find a use for a power feed on other machines but on a table saww they are pretty pointless unless you are doing some pretyy specialised stuff.
Considering many cabinet shops spend between $15K and $30K on a saw bench, if power feeds were worth while ona saw bench you would see plenty arround.
I have never seen an actual power feed used on a saw bench.
A good sharp straight 80tooth blade on a straight square saw bench will give pretty damn nice edges even without a scribing blade.
cheersAny thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
Most powertools have sharp teeth.
People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.

Google and search here for 'tabe saw tune-up' and the like. That would be a good investment of time.
