Literally in this same boat in about two weeks. Not sure what truck the furniture removalist will turn up but not expecting a tail lift.

Thinking about just hiring a truck for $200 my self and just move the TS, jointer, DC and a few others my self just to save the heart ache as we're only moving about 20mins away.

If it will fit on the tail lift easily, sounds like a plan. The removalists will be able to do it though if you can fit your house in one move.
