Is the TS10L back at Carbatec ?
I noticed a new model table saw model TSCE-10L ($2595) in the Carbatec August 2011 catalogue (and also on their website - Carba-Tec® 10" HD Left Tilting Cabinet Saw : CARBA-TEC ).
It looks very similar to the unavailable TS10L i.e.
- the blade guard and riving knife look the same.
- motor cover on LHS looks the same
- same style fence
- Left tilting blade
- table size almost the same.
- same weight
What is different (looking at photo's)
- the front of the cabinet is flat and not curved as on the old TS10L
- the power switch is in a different position.
Just wondering if anyone has seen this new model in the flesh and whether it has other TS10L features such as shaft lock and quick guard and riving knife removal ?

From what little that I saw of the TSCE, the riving knife assembly is fast removal, unlike its predesessor.
Looks like a nice bit of kit actually.
Suggest you go see it in the flesh.

Acording to the spec's page, the riving knife is fixed, not rise & fall as was the one on the earlier saw (and the Powermatic they copied). It may be worth a phone call to Carbatec to check if that is a typo.
