    Default W446/TS-251 or Ryobi ETS1525SCRG

    Hi all.

Very new to table saws and basic skills with wood working as well and was just wondering if I can get a opinion or two on which of these saw tables would be the better to go with. I know these are cheap and nasty but its what the budget will allow at the moment. It wont be thrashed, occasional use only for now. Still kicking myself for not getting a Taurus when they were at Aldi, (dedicated aldick here).
Here is a link to one that is on special.

$228 delivered seems to be a good price to me, probably a decent blade (assuming its not the best) would make it even better.

    The Ryobi

    RYOBI Tools

is plastic and looks like it came of the front of a jet fighter but at $389 is it worth the extra? the sliding part seems a good idea but apart from that I don't know the difference. I have been hunting for a second hand table with no luck.
    Any comments very much appreciated.
    Thanks from snibsy.
    aka Mick.

Which part of Australia are you in? If you update your location it may help for advice in the future.
I know of a Torqua brand table saw for sale for $300 secondhand. I have not seen it person, but if you are in Vic I could give you more details if needed.
I am not familiar with the two that you are looking at, but by the pictures they are fairly light duty, which would be okay if you are only doing small work.

Unfortunately I'm up near Coffs Harbour north coast NSW but thanks for the reply anyway. Lite duty is probably all it will get.
    Cheers from Mick.
