The WidowMaker 2000 from the Certain Death Company.

It looks like an EzeCut or Ezycut saw from the 1960's.

I had one of these from 1979 to 2014, purchased from a manual arts teacher for the then and now outrageous price of $400.
Mine had an open cabinet underneath but a much better planer fence - yours looks like a home made jobbie.
The planer on mine also had a rebate wing.

On the first day I got it I managed to take 5mm off the end of my LH ring finger while showing my brother how (not) to use it. It bled like a stuck pig and I fainted at the hospital and cracked the side of my head damaging a nerve in my temple that is still not working properly today.

It was used it to renovate our use in the 1980's including being fitted with a cutting dozens of paving bricks.
In 2006 I was just about to put it on the verge for hard rubbish collection instead I converted it to a metal cutting saw running thin kerf cutting wheels ay which it did a great job.
I cut a lot of metal within including tool steel with a water drip cooler system which generated a bit of surface rust.

Last year I bought a plasma cutter and was just about to put the Ezecut on the verge again, instead I completely refurbished it and gave it to my son who has developed a bit of interest in WW.

The plasma cutter cuts faster and thicker material but I still wish I had that method of cutting material.

Not really - I was being an eedjet and using the planer without a push stick.
I subsequently planed and cut hundred of metres of stock through that machine without any further problems.
The damaged nerve in the side of my head is a constant reminder that even a small machine like that could cause problems if it was not taken seriously.

Bobl can you remember if the belt for the jointer was the same as the one for the saw?

Were both belts hooked up at the same time, so that the jointer and the saw were always running together ?

Mine had only one belt and it fitted either side.
