Default Wixey Digital Angle Gauge Thingy

I have a question for those who have one. Does the gauge reference the angle from the level of the table or from true level if used to setup the blade on a TS.

IIRC, you sit the gauge on the table then set 'zero'. Then, you attach the gauge to the blade and establish the angle from that reference point. So the short answer is - from the table.

if your tablesaw isn't level, referencing it to true level wouldn't help you much.

Thanks for the reply. I have another use for one and was wondering how it references zero. So I guess I could put it at any angle and it will zero at that, now I reckon that will be really handy.

You do set zero, according to Professional Woodworkers Supplies.
