Thread: Woodfast panel saw

day, I've been search the web for more info on this machine, not too many reviews which is odd. not sure if this machine is the right one for me, going from a decent dewalt jobsite with an aluminium table that isn't flat enough, I need repeatable accuracy from a flat table and decent fence. only just picking up on the concept of a slider, hence this 'smaller' panel/table saw is on my radar. whilst I won't often work with too many larger panels, having a sliding table for accurate cross-cuts would be handy.

ideally I'd be after the highest quality but compact unit I can find to fit in a double garage workshop, so I dare say this could still be too large for my space. keen to hear form you thou, your thoughts a couple years on from your purchase on how you rate the machine. its a serious cost at this level no doubt, but also a serious looking thing which still ought to be the last table saw you ever need…

The only Woodfast saw for sale now at Hare and Forbes is the TS250. I once had the same item with a Jet badge, for about a week; before I returned it...

I still have this little gem of a saw. It’s done heaps of work over two years and hasn’t missed a beat. (It gets used every day) About the only things I’ve done are to re do the locking bolts for the crosscut fence, and seal off some gaps in the dust box to improve dust collection.Everything still works, everything is still square. Other than that, it’s been bloody excellent. Can’t praise it enough for the price.

was able to dig up a review on a startrite branded version of this saw (TS1) - with some differences - also giving it praise...
