How much should I ask for a Woodfast Universal Woodworker?
I'm cleaning out my Dad's garage and would like to sell his Woodfast Universal Woodworker. I don't have the model number, but know it's the variable speed version (goes up to 3500RPM). It also has the disc sander, planer, jig and a band saw attachment.
I've read a few of the postings and it seems that I should at least expect $500.
It's in good condition and has been used to build a great number of pieces around the family home.
Thanks...Paul

Welcome to the forums Paul,
I wouldn't have a clue what it is worth, but it seems you have already figured out a rough value, so why not post a "for sale" ad and see what sort of response you get.
Ultimately, it's true value is what someone is willing to pay for it (and what you are willing to sell it for).
Best of luck.Cheers.
Vernon.

Paul,
It would be hard to put a price on it but $500 would be a reasonable start. It looks to be a good quality bit of gear. You could put it on ebay at $500 to start and see how it goes.
Regards
John

Thanks for the advice. I've got a few more things to clean out of the garage before I put it up for sale, but at least now I have reasonable idea of where to start with this.
