I have bought a number of cutter blocks from Scosarg. very good customer service and price. wide variety of products. of course if you can wait for the delivery. sometimes I cant wait I buy something from local and it cost 1/3 more than Scosarg for the same product, and thats after discount

Seriously, try Whitehill. Twice now I have ordered Thursday and had it in my hands Monday. I had a bad experience with Scosarg the first time I used them. That sounds like an outlier, but for me, once bitten…
Whitehill do a 55mm universal head which is bigger than most, allowing bigger inserts. Their insert & limiters come in custom plastic cases, and are laser etched so you can’t confuse the two.
The guy who recommended them to me is an absolute tool snob. A Martin saw kind of guy. He buys about $50,000 in tooling with Whitehill every year, including custom designs. All of that gets charged back to the customer, so he wouldn’t buy there if it wasn’t as good as it gets. It's all part of the service here at The House of Pain™

I have a couple of Whitehill cutters, a couple of OMAS cutter, a set of Stark tooling (Taube), a set of Leitz and a few cutter block from CMT.
in comparison Whitehill probably come out top 1-2, I like Whitehill's 55mm inserts.
Would be nice to have customers to pay for your tooling... thats where I would like to be in a couple of years.SCM L'Invincibile si X, SCM L'Invincibile S7, SCM TI 145EP, SCM Sandya Win 630, Masterwood OMB1V, Meber 600, Delta RJ42, Nederman S750, Chicago Pneumatics CPRS10500, Ceccato CDX12

He just works in that shop as their cnc guru, with lots of latitude to buy tooling. He buys Whitehill both for them and for his home shop. His employer does an awful lot of complex 5-axis cnc work, which gets billed at $400/hr plus tooling, set-up and materials. It gets to crazy money in no time at all. I know some of their commissions are approaching the million dollar mark, if not over. I wouldn’t want to have that much work out on credit.
What’s really cool about customer paid tooling is that you get to keep it and add it to the library. I hear that some shops have sold the same tooling four or five times over, but that sounds unlikely. It's all part of the service here at The House of Pain™
