Thread: 15" thicknesser and profile moulding, Carba-tec, or Triton or another

I have been looking at the Carbe-tec CV 84215 thicknesser/moulder. As per prior information, it seems to be a Schepacch and is the same as the Triton one to e launched in 2007.
I want to do some new skirting boards for three rooms and some window sills in the first instance. I think that is enough to be able to persuade SWMBO of its potential to save money.
I did not want to highjack the other thread on Carbatec 15" thicknesser, but it doesn't seem to rate any mention. Does that mean that it does neither task as well as individual machines of comparable size, that there are inherent problems with it, or is it a good purchase? I figured the 15" over the smaller machine because it can do the moulding without a compulsory change of blades.
Is it:
a) worth getting now;
b) worth waiting until Triton launch and get one of theirs (to go woth the saw, saw table, router table and (hopefully bandsaw);
c) worth waiting until Triton launch and maybe Carba-tec have some specials as their stock runs out) or
d) not getting a combination machine at all and get a dedicated thicknesser and in time a spindle moulder?
