    Cool $499 Ryobi Thicknesser Bargain....Not

    I was in a country hardware store this week, and saw the Ryobi/GMC thicknesser, with Ryobi stickers for $499.00. I couldn't believe it after buying the GMC $199.00.

    It was in a mining town though.

    I wonder if they will sell any at that price??

    My local Bunnings has these at $399. I'd be i nterested in the difference between the GMC and the Ryobi since they seem to be the same unit. Surely they put more quality bearings or someting in the Ryobi?
