Something is not right, the jointer was sold on 20th March with positive feedback left.
Looked a little harder, seller trying to push up his own prices with dummy bidder..

I reckon you're right - see http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=380002720429 and http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=380006517754
Also http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=380003817121 appeared again after it had originally sold as a buy it now.
It seems things bought by either cfb0169 or 61evelyn reappear for sale at some later date.
By the way I actually bought something from this guy (I was the only bidder - I bid in the dying seconds, so he had no chance to push it up) and my MIL who picked it up (because it was in Sydney) said he complained about how much I got it for compared to what he paid for it 12 months earlier.Cheers.
Vernon.

It is people like him who are destroying ebay by causing items to sell for exorbitant amounts, I have reported him, feel free to do the same. Watch the item and see if he gets kicked off.
Ebay's reply:
Thank you for taking the time to write to eBay Australia's Trust & Safety department. Shill Bidding is a serious offence and we will investigate your report as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.
If we are able to find evidence of Shill Bidding between the accounts you have reported, our actions can range from issuing an educational alert, a selling restriction, a temporary suspension, or in some cases an indefinite suspension. The type of action that we take depends on the specific situation surrounding an individual account and may not be visible to the community. If we find there is not enough evidence of Shill Bidding, we may not take action against any of the reported accounts.
Sometimes, what appears to be Shill Bidding may actually be a legitimate bidding activity. This can occur for a number of reasons. For example, a bidder may bid almost exclusively on one or two sellers whom they have come to trust. If we find that the bidding activity is legitimate, we will not take action against the accounts. For more details on eBay's Shill Bidding policy, please visit the following Help page:
http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/seller-shill-bidding.html
We assure you that we will thoroughly examine your report. Please keep in mind that due to our privacy policy you will not receive specific details of our actions. In certain circumstances, we may contact you by email if we need further information. We assure you that an eBay Trust & Safety representative will quickly review your report of Shill Bidding
and apply our guidelines fairly.
** NOTE **
Please do not respond to this email, as your reply will not be received.
If you need to contact us again, please use the eBay Help system, which can be found at the following page:
http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/contact_us/_base/index.html
We appreciate you taking the time to report this important matter to us.
We appreciate your efforts to keep eBay a safe marketplace.
Best Regards,
eBay Trust & Safety Team

Standard response from Ebay I see, used to report this type of activity all the time. Ebay sends that standard response, then if the seller is found to be shill bidding they NARU the dummy bidders and let him keep selling.
Very rarely do they NARU the offending seller, costs them revenue.
So, I do not deal with, on or near thievesbay anymore..

This is the guy i bought the table saw from. He was a mongrel to deal with and tried to pull out as he rekoned he didnt get enough for it. Also neglected to tell me the sliding bench had been damaged and repaired.
When i won i asked him could i pay on pick up and he started going off on the phone saying that he needed the money now or he would cancel my bid and re auction it!!!
Then when i left feedback saying that he accused me of trying to avoid paying and said he gave me the option of pay on pick up.
He lies and is very arrogant . Id warn people from dealing with him.
I am happy with the saw tho so i guess in the end it worked out .
Just pisses me that people like that get away with so much bull S**t.

He has relisted it again with the comment that the previous buyer did not pay, yet he left feedback for them saying they are were a great ebayer and the buyer left feedback saying her husband loved it - I reckon more wives would like a husband who loves a jointer that they never received
I have reported him again. Look at his history and that of the items and buyers who have bought multiple items off him. Make up your own mind but if you believe the odds stack up against him being honest report him again. Only persistence and diligence from us as ebay users will see scum like him removed.
