Combination Planer / Thicknesses
Anybody out there have a Sherwood ML-392 Combination Planer? Is this a good investment instead of going for a separate thicknesser and jointing machine?
I need to save some coin. My dream is bigger than my bankbook.:eek:

I have the Carba-Tec ML392 - same machine. I am now quite happy with it, but had to fiddle a little to get it to its current state. Have a look at the following link;

You will see that some people had no trouble, whilst others had to fiddle. The 10" (250mm) size is great and I would not now want anything smaller.
