Delta Thicknesser Dust Port
Hey,
I have just purchased a second hand Delta Thicknesser TP400 12.5"
I understand that the dust port was an optional extra at the time, does anybody know where I could buy one? Or atleast get a very similar one that would fit?
Cheers
Andy

I called carbatec today and they had 24 in stock at their brisbane warehouse. I was very suprised as they stopped selling delta a few years ago.
I ordered one, i should get it next week. It's going to make a big difference when using my thicknesser now.

I have been playing around the last week trying to instal this dust hood. I found the thread https://www.woodworkforums.com/f154/h...knesser-32723/ which cleared things up. However it just won't fit, it looks like it's too wide, or I must be doing something wrong.
I am now thinking that perhaps Carbatec have supplied me with the wrong dust hood. I have attached photos below. If anyone has one and could tell me if the one I got is the correct hood?
Thanks. Andy

Looks like the wrong one to me.
The part number on mine is 50-445, it doesn't have the two sloted brackets that your has.

Thought it was. I'll call carbatec and hopefully get a refund. I found one that's in the US that I'll have to order.

Just got off the phone to carbatec, they sent me the wrong dust port (bigger model delta thicknesser). Luckily they the one I'm after in stock! Hopefully get it by the end of the week.
