DeWalt DW125 Powershop
I am refurbishing a Powershop DW 125 and would like the measurements for the "saw table top" sections to make a new top. According to the manual there are four parts.

Hi ernstvg,
I replaced mine a few years ago with the main piece as one, without the little extension which was attached with bars.
I also replaced the back pieces which are just strips.
The main piece is also a little longer than original and I have added a threaded support to support the extra length and reduce flex.
I don't have the measurements I am sorry, but thought the above may help. All you really need is somewhere to rest the material you are cutting and the fence for support and of course the table needs to be flat an even.
Regards,
conwood

Have attached details for the tables on my later 7740 saw, should be similar to yours.
If you need a deeper table for longer arm, add the extra to part A.

I have the DW 125 - many years ago I replaced the chipboard with 19mm ply. and made it slightly wider to fit into my bench.
From back to front - the widths/thickness - all are 900 mm long
45 mm
147 mm
19 mm [fence thickness] X 35 mm high exposed above the table top - therefore total height of this bit is 54 mm
500 mm
It is a breeze to do if you have the old top as you just use it as a template for the hole locations.
Have included a link to a previous posting which shows the top and the fence which I chose to not have all at the same height.

You will also find that after a period of time that the saw kerf in the top will get "ragged" - one of the reasons for using ply is that it is easily "repaired" see link.

Let us know how you get on with the restoration.

Powershop 125
Thanks Guys.
My Powershop had a solid "one piece" top. Am now busy making new top from 22mm MDF (properly sealed).
Will post pics when finished.
