What is a Durden P600 like?
Chaps,
I am currently in the market for a thicknesser or jointer.
I already have a 12" ryobi, which has been ok but is hard on blades and struggles a bit on hardwoods.
so my questions are;
Does anyone have a Durden P600 and what are they like?
Should I buy a biger thicknesser or a jointer ( what do you consider better) ?
Thanks
Pappy

I have a 6" Durden jointer, not sure of the model number, I will look this afternoon.
I have been happy with mine, it is the only jointer I have ever owned, and I think probably the only one I have ever used. So cant compare to others.
My tables are flat and paralell, It was 3ph when I got it , I put a single ph 1.5hp motor on it, so it has plently of grunt.
The only thing I dont like about it, is it took the end off one of my finger.
But I was to blame there.
