Took delivery of mine today......and guess whose town's getting a Bunnings? I feel sorry for the Home Hardware people who have been so good to everybody for so many years.
Took the GMC thicknesser out of the pack and there's a free back scratcher. Can't wait to start it up.

Have Thicknesser, Will Travel
Here's my thicknesser set up with the Dust Extractor, abd the H&F Dust Collector
Running Exador's pink bloodwood through filled the bag to 3/4s full and revealed some very Beautiful grain
Unfortunately, I had to pack away the Thicknesser, so it's a good thing it has wheels and will travel.
Cheers

Well you've convinced me
After all the posts, I rang the local and found they just got a pallet load in (at Southport Bunnings here on the Gold Coast), so off I went to buy one. My son works for Bunnings, so I got mine with the family discount for only $184.50
Now all I have to do is find the time to set it up, add the dust collection tack on, then find some where to put itNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Put it next to the pile of rough-sawn timber that you want DAR!
Hope GMC are noticing just how popular these tools are proving- I know it is an exceptional price, but the feedback seems to be that the tool does the job, which is even more critical. Please bring out a planer so we can do the whole job!"Clear, Ease Springs"

You can resharpen the blades and they are also double sided. The Ryobi blades will fit the GMC machine as the Ryobi, GMC and Ozito Thicknesser are from the same factory and are the same machine.
Bunnings should carry both the Ryobi and GMC blades as they are graded "S" status which means all warehouses should carry them.
Hope this helps,Eagle
