Parts hard to get
The Ryobi AP13Ak thicknesser is still being sold as new in Bunning's stores, however parts are subject to non-availability.
The Bunning's distributer told us that t his model is obsolete and an infeed roller is not available. Again, however, with a bit of nudging Bunnings have accessed one from OS. at $48.00au. w ith a 6 to 12 week delay.
A same blueprint machine from Tiwain has an identical roller and can be accessed from Gasweld for $72.00.
To have the roller re-lagged would cost $195 in Lismore or $175 in Brisbane.
I order the Bunnings roller.

Well done Black Bear, I have often thought that some of the wood working machinery that we source from Bunnings is obsolete. Still it is nice to know that other branded machines use identical parts and at the end of the day it means that all is not lost and we don't have to scrap a machine because we were unable to get replacement parts.
