Help Please - Carbatech CJT 340 12.5 lunch box thicknesser bushes
Had a jam on the thicknesser the other day and two of the bronze (?) gear bushes which insert in the gear carrier plates ( located under the plastic cover on the opposite side to the raise/ lower handle) have destroyed themselves
I have looked everywhere for replacement bushes
The Australian Carba-tech web-site is useless
This machine is the el-cheapo copy of the 12 1/2 inch Delta Thicknesser and I can't find replacement bushes for it either here or (unusually) in the US either
I do have a friendly local light engineer but I'm looking at $50 for custom replacements and he takes ages to do small jobs like this
Does anyone have a source for new replacement Carba-tech parts or perhaps you have a dead CJT 340 in the shed you'd be prepared to cannibalise for the 2 bush carrier plates ?
Any assistance./ advice gratefully received !
Dave
