Can anyone ID this radial arm saw?
Sorry it is in bits but it's easier to clean and de-rust this way!!
It isn't really a traditional radial arm saw - it carries in this instance an old Makita circular saw that has had its base plate removed - so it's a bit like a Triton...except somewhat better made.
You'll notice the Teknatool name.......I've already chased them and they've be helpful but know nothing about it.
The other name prominent on this is Wiltshire. It is cast into the alloy block on the end of the long tubular shaft (the main slide) and there's a sticker on the base that says it was distributed by Wiltshire Australia 36-38 Albert Road South Melbourne......but of course there's no record that I've yet found of this company and given the sticker has just a seven digit phone number on it then I'd have to suggest that this tool is well over 25 years old.
If anyone can shed some light on it then that'd be rather lovelyOurs is not to reason why.....only to point and giggle.

To me, it looks more like the stand for a power feed unit. Perhaps someone took a broken power feed and turned it into a RAS?
