The reason I ask is that I have one on order from Carbatec in Brisbane, and the one that they had on display before I placed my order did not have its own base. Carbatec can't give me much information about the ones that are supposed to be arriving soon, but it would sure save me some hassle if it comes with an integral mobile base like the new Carbatec machines do.

    Thanks

Thanks for that. Can I ask you another question - what base did you use? I would like to buy a mobile base now, so that it can be already assembled when the Woodfast arrives, but Carbatec can't give me the appropriate measurements of the existing base so that I can make the right choice.

This is the base I got, I did have to cut two of the sides as the Woodfast has a rectangle base and the mobile base even though is adjustable didn't go small enough on the short sides
    easily done though
