    i am in the market for a scms and am looking at the ls1013
    is this a good choice
    is there any better for same price
    and where can i get the ls1013 for a good price

    The Makita SCMS are good value. What is your price range?

    Just Tools have the LS1013 for $949.00, LS1212 for $1180.00, LS1214 for $1150.00

    There are also specials on BOSCH GCM12SD.

    Also look at the HITACHI CR12SH for $990.00

    Ls 1013 at tool specialist newcastle is $899 , check the web remember your local bunnies have to pricematch or 10% less

    G'Day DJ, I have the 1013 and highly recommend it. Nice and quiet, accurate and built to last.
    I paid about $850 from memory, but my wife works at Mitre 10 so there was a bit of a discount.
