    Wondering if anyone has experience with the Kity 439 Planer/Thicknesser? Not much detailed info on the website:

    I remember looking at these machines in the early 90s and thinking that they looked good. I bought Inca instead.

    The problem you'll face with Kity is that no-one sells them here, and there are no parts available. Inca no longer exists (well, not entirely true, but you can't buy new machines), and I'm scared stiff of breaking something. There are a few second-hand parts suppliers but they're all on the other side of the world, and freight for anything major is a real killer.
